Watch: PN Honours Graffitti Activist Robert Louis Fenech For Cannabis Reform Campaign

The Nationalist Party has granted a social justice award to Moviment Graffitti activist Robert Louis Fenech, specifically highlighting his efforts to reform Malta’s cannabis laws among other campaigns.
This award is somewhat ironic since the PN had campaigned hard against this very reform a few years ago.
Fenech was one of four people who were honoured by the PN this week, along with Professor Carmel Borg, lecturer Mary Muscat, and Mons. Victor Grech posthumously.
“Although he prefers working behind the scenes, he was at the forefront of campaigns such as the cannabis reform law, justice for Daphne Caruana Galizia, anti-corruption, changing the prison leadership, and environmental campaigns against overdevelopment,” the PN’s promo said.
“He also took part in campaigns for migrants to be given the dignity they deserve and to ensure rights for LGBTIQ+ people.”
The awards were handed out by PN leader Bernard Grech and PN MP Ivan Bartolo.
