6 Reasons We Don’t Want To See Emma Muscat As An X Factor Judge

Rumours of Emma Muscat being a judge on the newly-launched X factor Malta have been circulating from the second the news broke. While we’d love any excuse to see more of Emma in different situations, there are a few reasons we’d rather she wasn’t a judge on the show’s debut.

1. She’s too nice

Combining her young age with the fact that she’s a naturally sweet person, Emma wouldn’t be able to deal the harsh blows expected of an X Factor judge.

2. She’s too green

Having literally just started what is bound to be an incredible career, Emma’s advice would be limited when coaching her group. Sure she knows everything there is to know about doing well in talent competitions, but that won’t always translate for everyone.

3. She’s not (yet) overexposed

And we don’t want that to happen.

Currently promoting her new album, if Emma was also on TV weekly, all over social media for Amici, her music and X Factor, people in Malta who have a habit of quickly turning on their faves would likely start complaining about seeing too much of the starlet.

4. She’ll get more shit for not speaking Maltese

Every time the rising star speaks, someone feels they have the right to police what language she uses. Sure, they absolutely don’t – but it would still be extremely annoying to have half the nation go into a meltdown every single week.

5. It’s not what people want to see her do

Having just launched an insane career, most fans want to see her perform, not judge – and we’re sure that’s what she’s hoping for too. She can sell out shows and take on big stages everywhere, and her fans won’t be happy to see her tethered to one small stage, helping others make it big.

6. No one called Carmen would make it through

And that’s a significant portion of the Maltese population.
