Maltese starlet Emma Muscat was surprised by her on-show boyfriend Biondo on Amici today, a few days after he was eliminated from the competition. 

Biondo prepared a treasure hunt for Emma, leaving a series of notes around the Amici house with clues ultimately leading to him. 

Emma couldn’t contain her delight, running straight into Biondo’s arms and kissing him passionately. The two exchanged sweet talk, with Biondo eventually telling Emma that he loves her. 

In a separate interview, Biondo said he hopes Emma wins Amici – which is now down to the last five contestants. 

“It’s been a long time since I’ve experienced such strong emotions,” he said. “I don’t know what love is, but I have very strong feelings for her which I cannot describe. All I know is that I care about her so much, she’s become fundamental to me.”
