Gregg Sulkin Shares Photos From His Time Filming In Malta For Upcoming Thriller
Hollywood actor Gregg Sulkin has given fans a behind-the-scenes look at his time filming his upcoming thriller, Ascent, in Malta, sharing a series of stunning photos from around the island.
The Wizards of Waverly Place star took to Instagram, posting photos captioned “Movie making in Malta,” offering a glimpse of the breathtaking scenery.
Sulkin is starring in Ascent, a suspense-packed thriller that follows a group of friends attending a destination wedding in Europe, only to find themselves trapped 3,000 feet in the air on a hot air balloon.
Directed by horror mastermind Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen), the film promises plenty of edge-of-your-seat moments—and with Malta as one of the filming locations, it’s set to deliver some seriously cinematic backdrops.
Sulkin isn’t the first international star to film in Malta, and with the island’s reputation as a prime movie destination, it’s no surprise that another big-name production is making the most of its stunning landscapes.
