‘Hello Malta Hello Valletta!’: Conchita Wurst Sends Excited Message To Fans Ahead Of EuroPride
The one and only Austrian singer and drag queen Conchita Wurst has sent a heartfelt message to fans ahead of this year’s EuroPride – which is set to be bigger than ever!
“I’m so excited to be in Valletta!” Conchita said in a new video.
The stunning voice behind the 2014 Eurovision winning song, ‘Rise like a Phoenix’, will perform among other big names and fellow Eurovision winners such as Fabrizio and Claudia Faniello, Chiara, and Katrina (formerly known as Katrina and the Waves).

After stepping into the limelight and winning the Eurovision song contest, the artist Tom Neuwirth, who created the persona of Conchita Wurst, went on to perform at several pride parades and festivals – the bearded diva actively encourages support for the LGBTQ community.
Besides focusing on his musical calling, Neuwirth often uses his media attention and popularity to support socio-political causes, even speaking at the European Parliament in Brussels.
In 2019, featuring for the very first time, electronic music, the album ‘WURST’ was released.
This new sound was developed by Tom Neuwirth as he began to combine his dual role, while emphasising the contrast between his antonymous sounds by combining Conchita and WURST as one vibrant persona.
