‘Ignore The Hate’: Makeup Star Backs Maltese OnlyFans Creator After New Interview

Makeup star Henry Galea has defended Lexi Borg after an interview that saw her explaining how much money she earns on OnlyFans garnered a strong response that wasn’t entirely positive.

“Lexi Borg, I hope you see this – please do not read all the hate and nasty comments that people are writing, you are free to do whatever you want,” he said.

This comes after an interview on Maltese hair mogul’s Stella Cini’s TikTok where Lexi explained that she made €20,000 in her first month on the platform alone.

Unfortunately, the Maltese public didn’t take too well to the news, and started shaming the young creator for her success since she followed a less traditional path.

The video was also criticised due to the fact that Lexi is a victim of revenge porn, becoming a public face on the issue for the toll this took on her mental health.

However, she did differentiate between revenge porn and OnlyFans, the former being done maliciously and without consent, and the latter done according to the creators own boundaries and with financial benefits.

In response to the disappointing public reaction, Henry decided to back Lexi through a Facebook statement praising her for her courage and encouraging her to ignore the haters.

“This is a perfect example of why Malta is a place where people can never grow and excel on social media. We have this mentality that just because a person opens up an OnlyFans it means that they’re desperate, that they have no talent or other ways of making money – if you think that, you’re terribly wrong.”

“It takes a lot of balls and courage to open up an OnlyFans, balls that I’ll never have even after being contacted by OnlyFans directly to open up my own account and have it marketed by them directly. Do I hate on other people that have the balls to do so? No”

“Is it my right to shit on someone else’s life choices and make their life a living hell? Absolutely not. So please, for the love of god, if you don’t like someone’s life decisions, keep the comments to yourself. Don’t try and bring down someone that’s actually working towards her goals and ambitions.

“Oh, and p.s: to all the people saying ‘is this the example we’re giving to 13/14/15 year olds,” sis, your child can most probably teach you more about sex education than what you already know, thanks to the internet nowadays. So please, don’t blame a normal girl for the problems caused by social media.”

Lexi responded to Henry’s post thanking him for being one of the few commenters who’s making sense.

She also commented on Lovin Malta’s post covering the interview calling out commenters judging Lexi for judging her professional choices.

“It’s quite disgusting how we all know that things got so out of hand in the first place and that I had to learn how to live with that after such trauma,” she said referring to when personal videos were leaked to the public without her consent.

“Secondly. This decision was mine to make, not yours . You don’t have to agree with me at all but why you all feel like it’s right to come to judge me or my life is incredible.”

“This country is incredible.”
