Legendary Chef And Meme Icon Ainsley Harriott Visits Malta To Film New ITV Series – And Bumps Into Some Friends
British chef and TV presenter, Ainsley Harriot, is currently visiting our islands in order to start filming for his ITV series.
The just-out series is called Ainsley’s Fantastic Flavours, which first aired on 28th January, in 2023.
In each episode Ainsley creates flavorsome meals and sends other chefs out on the road to search for flavours that inspire their cooking.
The chef is visiting the Maltese Islands to discover and get a taste of our delicious cuisine, he first visited the capital city and then head straight to the South, for some wine-tasting, food from Marsaxlokk’s restaurants, and a visit to a potato farm.
“The weather may have been unpredictable but we’ve had such a warm welcome,” he wrote.

Alongside the whole team and crew, the chef is visiting places all across the island, trying traditional foods including pastizzi.
He even randomly bumped into the world-famous Martin Freeman, known for playing the Hobbit in the blockbuster Hobbit film series, as well as his portrayal of Dr. John Watson in Sherlock.

Ainsley is also the author of Ainsley’s Good Mood Food, which solely birthed a past TV series, in 2021.
