Malta’s Out Of The Eurovision, But Emma Muscat’s Epic Showdown Tonight Will Have You Glued To TV
Maltese singer Emma Muscat has been dominating the stage on the hit Italian TV show Amici di Maria De Filippi, but her exciting journey could all come to an end tonight.
Last week she was told there would be a harsh cut made, and she’d be going head-to-head against the opposing team’s female singer, Carmen. Only one of them will continue on in the show.
Yesterday afternoon the show revealed what the nail-biting competition would entail for the two girls. Apart from singing their own songs solo, they would also have individual duets with top Italian artists, following which both of them would duet with the world-famous ‘boy band’, Il-Volo.
Judging by her initial freak-out at the news, Emma is looking forward to this part so here’s hoping that carries her performance to new levels.
When all is said and done the final decision is in the hands of the judges, so here’s to Emma continuing her incredible journey.
Good luck, the whole country is behind you!
