Maltese Event Planner Chosen To Organise Prestigious Commonwealth Businesswoman Awards In London

One of Malta’s leading wedding and event planners has been hand-picked by the heads of the Commonwealth to organise the prestigious Businesswomen Awards in London.
Sarah Young has been trusted to plan this year’s awards, their largest and most significant event to date, attracting women entrepreneurs and business leaders from across the Commonwealth.

The Commonwealth Women Entrepreneur of the Year Awards recognises women who have made a real difference in any area of business. The 3rd Commonwealth Businesswomen Awards aims to celebrate the achievement of women in business and the beneficial impact of the Commonwealth.
A major goal of the Awards is to challenge the lack of genuine geographic diversity and inclusiveness with one powerful message: the Commonwealth’s billion-plus women need to be celebrated and women’s economic empowerment has to be prioritised, pushed and praised.

Sarah is a luxury events and wedding planner with over 20 years experience, organising over 800 high-end events across the Maltese islands and around Europe. As a luxury event planner, Sarah’s core goal is to create an enthralling experience that goes far beyond the expectations of her clients.
Sarah isn’t the only Maltese person that the Commonwealth reached out to for their talents. Chef Marvin Gauci, the mastermind behind Tarragon and Buddhaman, was also featured in a video celebrating Maltese cuisine.
