Maltese Influencer In Tears At Positive Reaction To Raw And Inspirational Photo Series
Stretch marks, varicose veins and other imperfections – everyone gets them, even seemingly-perfect social media stars like Tamara Webb. And that’s exactly what she wanted to let her near 17,000 followers know with one of the most honest social media posts we’ve seen this year.
“This is difficult, even for me,” she starts, “I’m siting here, biting my (acrylic) nails off but I’m constantly reminded why I started doing what I do. I’ve always hated my legs… but what is a perfect body? For me, it’s one I’ve worked hard for.”
Tamara also admits to crying while writing the post, stating she “hopes it can give courage to at least one of you queens and kings (the term of endearment she uses with her followers)” while teasing the post on her Insta-story.
Hundreds of comments and messages of support flooded in under the three-part photo series, with many expressing their gratitude for the unconventional honesty rarely found in posts by social media influencers.
“Well said as usual,” one comment reads, “It took me years to stop being embarrased of myself just because I cannot change genes and cannot stop time.”

*THIS IS DIFFICULT EVEN FOR ME* Sitting here biting my (acrylic) nails off contemplating if I should post this or not. BUT THEN AGAIN I find myself daily reminded WHY I started this BY YOU, MY QUEENS.
VEINS, STRETCH MARKS (GALORE), BEAUTY SPOTS, SCARS, ACNE, AGING … hips, not having hips, ass, not having one … boobs & not having any … hair loss … I MEAN … If we really think this through… WE ARE THE CULPRITS OF THE DEFINITION OF BEAUTY.
I always ALWAYS hated my legs. I COME FROM AN AMAZING family and with all the good genes, I got the varicose veins genetics too hi. I cannot sit here and tell you that it doesn’t effect me. Especially in the world and in the sector I am in where people judging you from a screen think that you SHOULD live up to perfection. Perfect skin, perfect legs, perfect body.
BUT WHAT IS A PERFECT BODY? … FOR ME: A perfect body is the body I work hard for. The body I nourish. The body I respect. I look at my body and YES, I do think there are things we can ALL IMPROVE ON. NOT to make us more perfect than we already ALL ARE, but just to make ME FEEL BETTER ABOUT MYSELF. For me to gain confidence in what I managed to achieve.
Confidence is not having the perfect body or abs… Abs don’t make me happy, MAL-VINI OMMI TAGHTNI ZAQQ CATTA UKOL at least haha (Grazzi Ma!) But it’s LEARNING TO LOVE MYSELF and ACCEPTING myself which gave me PURE happiness. It’s the decisions I TOOK … Instead of covering my legs and GIVING UP on my body. I WORKED HARD, to make them the best I COULD! Strong & Healthy
WE ALL HAVE INSECURITIES. Most of them unfortunately define us when we all suffer from the same things. YOU ARE NOT ALONE QUEEN and these ‘imPERFECTions’ should only be a DROP in the ocean we call LIFE.
And although I’m still not confident wearing shorts and skirts – I AM THE BEST VERSION OF MYSELF.
And THANK YOU, for making me feel WORTHY. THANK YOU, for making me feel I have A VOICE. INHOBBKHOM. WE ONLY LIVE ONCE.
