The cast of Ascent, the upcoming thriller currently being filmed in Malta, is embracing more than just the island’s stunning backdrops—they’re also picking up some Maltese along the way.
Inanna Sarkis, Paris Berelc, Gregg Sulkin and Timothy Granaderos are all on set, but that hasn’t stopped them from soaking up the local culture.

Sarkis shared a “Mela, a girls photo dump” with her 17.5 million Instagram followers, while Berelc dropped a classic “uwejja!” in her behind-the-scenes post with her 2.6 million followers.
The film, directed by horror expert Adam Green (Hatchet, Frozen), follows a group of friends attending a destination wedding in Europe—only to end up stranded 3,000 feet in the air in a hot air balloon.
While the thriller is set to deliver edge-of-your-seat moments, the cast is making the most of their time in Malta, sightseeing and fully embracing island life.
