One Of The Funniest Men In The World Just Popped Into Malta For Some Quality Eats
John Cleese, the famous comedian and writer that was one of the brains behind beloved hits like Monty Python and Fawlty Towers has been spotted around Malta lowkey eating and dining the April evenings away.
The 76-year-old clearly gets around quickly considering he was seen on a shopping spree in London just two days ago.
The comedian spent some time at Acqua Terre e Mare in St Julians, where got to enjoy some exquisite Mediterranean food in one of Malta’s prime locations.
And people had a bit of fun with it
John Cleese was also spotted at Da Pippo Trattoria in Valletta, where he stopped in for an authentic lunch in the capital. He ordered lamb chops with mint sauce, and Francesco Cutajar from Da Pippo said he was great to have as a guest.
John Cleese seems to have left the island yesterday after his quick stop to Malta, but he definitely got a proper taste of the Mediterranean while he was here – here’s hoping the service was up to his usual standards.
