The next Bond girl might just be a couple of kilometres away from where you are right now.

British actress Charlotte Kirk is currently in Malta filming psychological thriller Compulsion… but if the rumours are true, she’s set to star in something much bigger – the one and only James Bond in its latest 007 revival.

The 30-year-old is best known for appearing in Ocean’s 8, but her latest acting role might see her being propelled to one of the biggest action roles ever to be written to the screen. In an exclusive article written by The Mirror yesterday, it was revealed that Kirk is “eyeing up the possibility of taking on the new role shortly after filming wraps for her upcoming movie”… which is specifically what’s happening right now in Malta

“With Charlotte’s award-winning roles, infamous curves and sliver screen good looks it is natural she would position as a favourite for Bond,” a spokesperson for the actress told The Mirror. “Charlotte is currently the number one action female on the movie scene – her latest film The Lair made it to Number One in the US Box Office for action fiction thriller.”

Meanwhile, Kirk has kept things cryptic but enticing enough for her fans, sharing a screenshot of the article and simply captioning it  – “You know what they say about rumours”
