The rumour mill surrounding Gaia Cauchi’s incredible journey on X Factor UK continues to churn, with whispers abounding that the 15-year-old Maltese starlet was personally mentored by UK Superstar Robbie Williams.

“If rumours are saying that she is in a group, as was previously reported, and Robbie Williams is confirmed to be mentoring the groups, then it will be him mentoring them and it will be him who will join them at the judge’s house,” an informed source told Lovin Malta.

The all-girl group is set to take on the Six-Chair challenge, which you can watch on Saturday, where they will have to show the judges just how well they sing – and work – together as a team.

If they are successful, they will earn one of the six places available for each category on the show to move on to the final stage before the live show.

With Robbie William mentoring the group’s for this season of X Factor, and Gaia now confirmed to be in a group – at least for this stage – then it seems certain that Gaia will be put under Robbie Williams’ wing very soon, though only time will tell.
