Some Of The World’s Top PR Professionals Are Heading To Malta
Some of the world’s most influential PR and communications professionals, including Patrick Jephson, Princess Diana’s Chief of Staff and the former Press Secretary to Princes Charles, William and Harry, are headed to Malta for the Global PR Summit Malta.
The communication elite of the world will be in Malta between the 12th and 13th April for the summit at the InterContinental Hotel in St Julians.
The two day gathering will be kicked off by a presentation by Mary Jo Jacobi, the ‘Iron Lady’ of the global PR world. As the former Vice President at BP America, she dealt with the international backlash from the company’s oil spill in the Gulf of Mexico.
Anyone attending the summit will learn all about responding to the fallout from crisis situations, as well as combatting cyber crime and fake news.
There will even be a half day interactive crisis simulation workshop with Donald Steel, former Chief Communications Advisor at BBC.
Attendees will also have the opportunity to hear from Richard Stephenson from the Civil Communications Authority in the UK, Medard Schoenmaeckers from Credit Suisse, Zayna Aston from You Tube, and Pierandrea Quarta from P&G.
With annual editions in 22 countries, the Global PR Summit is considered one of the world’s biggest and most innovative PR events. The Global PR Summit Malta is organised by P World in cooperation with BPC, growthGurus and SIGMA.
