One of Malta’s most fashionable Instagram influencers has (inadvertently) drawn some serious positive attention to a major source of low self-esteem – stretch marks.

Though nowadays most men think stretch marks are an attractive quality, they can still be a major concern for some women.

So when Sarah Zerafa posted some chill beachside snapshots on her Insta openly showing her “tiger marks”, the comments section quickly became full of supportive comments, applauding the Maltese influencer for not photoshopping her marks out and proudly showing her natural body.

“I’ve never commented so far but you’re gorgeous and literally brave enough to show some … “aspects” of the body that people struggle to be comfortable with, and yet, you openly show them, unafraid to be beautiful with them. That’s very beautiful of you to do that,” said one user, while another said: “You’re so beautiful! And an absolute inspiration for so many girls, showing just you and your ‘flaws’ (I don’t think they’re flaws, society just does…)”.
