Sweet Sense Unveiled: Gaia Takes To The X Factor Stage In First Performance With New All-Girl Group
Gaia Cauchi, the 15-year-old Maltese starlet currently making her way through The X Factor in the UK, will be performing for the first time on the show with her new all girl-band, Sweet Sense.
They will be performing Bruno Mars’ ‘Uptown Funk’ – and the group had some choice words for the judges ahead of their performance.
“We all originally auditioned as soloists for our first audition and then on deliberation day we got put together as a girl group. We feel we work really well together the connection is really good. If we’re don’t get our bums on that chair, we’re going to have to take Simon’s,” Sweet Sense said.
The important performance comes as part of the Six Chair Challenge, the third and final one for this year’s edition of the famous competition
The winners of the challenge will head onto the next stage of the show – the Judges’ Houses.
Robbie Williams is in charge of taking care of the Groups this year, and is helping them hone their talents. With Sweet Sense now fully formed and ready to compete, and Robbie Williams helping them, we might just be witnessing the birth of a new supergroup.
Sweet Sense is made up of Gaia Cauchi, along with 17-year-old Ellie Grant, 18-year-old twins Billie Tomo and Charlie Tomo and 15-year-old Kezia Povey
And the girls have already set up an Instagram page where they’ve showcased just how good they sound together.
Sweet Sense will perform tonight, Saturday the 6th, at 9pm, on ITV
