“I cannot believe this! Crying my eyes out” Ghenea said.
After months and months of hard work, hitting Netflix’s top 5 has been of immense satisfaction to all the cast who made this movie come to life.

Attracting the attention (and memes) of many film enthusiasts all around the world, Deep Fear – promising “a mix of storms, drug traffickers and great white sharks” – is one of the films that was last year given a controversial 40% cash rebate by Malta’s Film Commission.
According to the EU State Aid website, in fact, Deep Fear received a €1,324,178 cash rebate.
Last summer, during the inaugural Mediterrane Film Festival, Deep Fear also enjoyed its world premiere right here in Malta, with both lead stars Ed Westwick and Madalina Ghenea featuring among the star-studded attendees.
