Tiffany Pisani’s Take On Malta’s National Costume Is… An Interesting Choice
Model-cum-DJ Tiffany Pisani has raised some eyebrows over her choice of attire for the ‘National Costume’ portion of the Miss Universe competition.
Currently in Vegas representing Malta, Tiffany is competing against girls from all over the world for the title of Miss Universe. The nation is backing her, but some are a little confused by her outfit representing our tiny island.
It’s għonnella-inspired… right? The flashy gown looks amazing on Tiffany, it’s just that at first glance the beads and the feathers don’t scream: Malta.
Well, you know what they say, the higher the hair (or feathered headdress), the closer to God, so perhaps that’s where the whole thing ties in with Malta’s Catholic history.
It seems Tiffany wasn’t the only one taking a risk however, as Miss Malaysia went dressed as an actual replica of their national dish.
