The Italian branch of top record label Warner Music has announced it has signed a deal with Maltese starlet Emma Muscat.

“Welcome to our squad, Emma❤️,” Warner Music Italy said in an Instagram post.

Emma earlier teased her fans about a deal with the record label giant, who had declared its interest while she was competing on the Amici talent show, saying she will reveal all the details next week.

Emma Muscat, 18, made waves in Italy and Malta when she competed in this year’s edition of Amici, seeing off most of her competitors but narrowly missing out on a spot in the grand final.

The Amici deal comes hot on the heels of yesterday’s announcement that the Maltese starlet will perform at the Isle of MTV concert in Floriana next Wednesday.
