Watch: Andrew Tate Recommends Malta’s Citizenship By Investment Scheme
Andrew Tate gave a shout-out to Malta’s citizenship by investment scheme in a recent interview.
Speaking on Jack Neel’s podcast, Tate urged people who can afford it to acquire multiple citizenships to ensure that they are never at the mercy of a single government.
“You should be adaptable and live outside the box, there is no reason why you shouldn’t have a Turkish passport and a Turkish bank,” he said. “If you want to go down the rabbit hole you can even change your name in Turkey.”
Neel then asked Tate to recommend other jurisdictions, and the social media personality responded that the likes of Malta, Montenegro, St Kitts and Dominica are also “good to do”.
“You can’t live off the grid but you can live on as many grids as possible so it’s harder for a single government to damage you,” he said.
Whether Tate would be accepted as a Maltese citizen is another question though. Parliamentary Secretary of Equality Rebecca Buttigieg recently called him out for “normalising highly concerning attitudes towards women”.
Tate’s interview was filmed shortly before a Romanian court placed him under house arrest as part of an investigation into human trafficking.
