Watch: Chess Legend Magnus Carlsen Meets Young Fans In Valletta
Magnus Carlsen, one of the greatest chess players of all time, met up with young chess enthusiasts in Valletta this afternoon.
Carlsen, a Betby ambassador, flew to Malta this week to participate in Next Summit: Valletta.
He took part in a fireside chat and played a blindfolded chess game against the winner of a tournament at the conference, Maltese chess champion Colin Pace.
Unsurprisingly, he won the game, although he admitted he found the game quite challenging.
In between his commitments, Carlsen found some time to meet a few young local fans, who were clearly delighted at the opportunity to meet a living legend.
