The night featured emotional sing-alongs of some of the biggest One Direction and Liam by the crowd, along with an actual live performance by local artist Abire.

With their flashing phones in the air and a shrine of all things Liam and 1D, the crowd quickly turned the capital city’s Laparelli Garden into a beautiful, temporary memorial to Payne.
