Grant Cardone, the high-flying business innovator and social media personality who tours the world with his family training people to “10X” their income and become super rich, spontaneously diverted his flight to Miami to celebrate his daughter’s birthday in sunny Malta. 

In an Instagram story uploaded yesterday, Cardone told his 730,000 followers how, after visiting Sicily, the family decided to pick their next stop at random, diverting from their original destination, Miami. Faraway Iceland was even on the cards, but when his daughter said she wanted to visit a country she had never been in before for her birthday, the multi-millionaire’s private jet was soon enough headed to Malta.

The boisterous investor took time out of his busy schedule to head to the Mediterranean islands for some family time, as well as to check out some local real estate. He was spotted touring the Sliema and St Julians areas, and loving what he was seeing.

“You guys should be really proud of your country,” Cardone told Maltese people as he pointed out the various development projects happening around the area.

In an effort to “always keep it real”, he also threw some shade at a popular Maltese hotel

The Cardone family initially checked into the Corinthia Hotel in St. George’s Bay, but it didn’t last very long. He uploaded an Instagram story as he left the building.

“You know I always keep it real, I gotta do a review on this hotel,” he said in an Instagram story. “I’m leaving right, going down the street, I’m leaving – you can’t fix that with a smile,” he said.

The New York Times Bestselling author did love the Westin’s “happy” vibes though, going on to say that people need to “get in the nicest space possible” as he walked down Dragonara’s reception area. Uploading another story from the hotel’s gym this morning, Grant called the fitness studio “sick”, before joking about a particularly buff guy behind him.

Constantly updating his Instagram stories, he went on to film a weather forecast of Europe that was airing on TV, asking his followers which country he should visit next. 

Cardone also had quite a loud way of getting new Instagram followers
