WATCH: Maltese Resident Named As One Of Nas Daily’s Top 5 Human Stories

Falling in love with Malta isn’t hard when you’ve visited it for a holiday, but international viral vlogger Nas Daily took his love to new heights after his trip last April.

Constantly citing our island as one of his top five places to travel to long after he left our shores, Nas has now cemented his love for Malta by mentioning one of its residents in his video titled “Five unique people in five minutes”.

Salvu Vella, one of Comino’s only residents was featured twice before on Nas’s channel, after the vlogger felt one video didn’t do Vella’s lifestyle justice.

The original clip called ‘The Most Surprising Guy’ (which followed Salvu around his home island) was viewed over 10,000,000 (that’s 10 million) times and shared to over 100,000 timelines across Facebook.

While here, Nas Daily caused a stir as some people glorified his visit and others felt he was misrepresenting Malta as being a picture-perfect island state.

His catchphrase “Oh My Malta” was probably the most controversial moment from his trip after a concert was held in its honour in a bid to make it the nation’s official slogan. It was later commandeered by labour supporters for merchandise at the May 1st Mass Meeting in Triton Square.
