Sam Smith did not let Malta’s blistering summer heat get in the way of a number of elaborate and increasingly fabulous outfit changes last night, stunning and entertaining the thousands-strong crowd at SummerDaze.

“This is an amazing crowd – how are you doing tonight everyone, are you good?” Smith told the roaring audience towards the beginning of the headlining set. “It is fucking hot… I’m regretting all of my outfit changes!”

And there definitely was an outfit change or two planned, with Smith switching it up every couple of songs, changing into everything from an elegant black gown to a massive rainbow-coloured dress which definitely needed the on-stage fans.
