A Maltese family has travelled to Dubai, met with Turkish chef Salt Bae and were spotted on his Instagram!
“We wanted to go to this place first of all because it’s a TikTok celebrity and secondly my niece always laughs when she sees him on TikTok.” Yana Preca told Lovin Malta.
Salt Bae shared Miya on his Instagram story – where she can be seen hugging and in awe of the food entertainer. “Really didn’t expect that he would be there nonetheless taking my niece on him and coming to the table himself,” her aunt said.
Preca also described Nusret Gökçe as “sweet and humble with her” as he was visiting their table almost every 10 minutes. Miya was referring to Salt Bae as her “best friend”.

Turkish chef Salt Bae, whose real name is Nusret Gökçe, acquired his monicker because of the suavely methodical way he slices meat, the sensual way he caresses his chops and the interesting way he sprinkles salt on food.
He became an internet sensation through a series of viral videos and memes and now he has Nusr-Et branches in Turkey, Greece, the United States, the United Kingdom, the United Arab Emirates, Qatar, and Saudi Arabia.
He courted controversy recently by joining Messi on the pitch at the World Cup final and handling the cup to take the selfie.
