What Happened To Joseph Calleja’s Face?!
World renowned Maltese tenor Joseph Calleja caused a stir on social media yesterday after he posted this photo:
Many fans freaked out at the sight of the (admittedly very realistic) blood smeared across his face, which is part of his makeup routine for his role in the Royal Opera House of London’s Norma.
Calleja plays the heroic Pollione, and stars opposite Sonya Yoncheva.
