Gozitan Trio Taking On 3,000KM Rickshaw Run In India To Raise Funds For Gozo’s First Cat Sanctuary

Three Gozitan adventurers, Chris, Elena and Rachel, are ready to take on a Rickshaw Run Challenge where they will be navigating 3,000km of unpredictable roads, dodging potholes, weaving through chaotic traffic and braving diverse weather conditions all done in a three-wheeled rickshaw.
So you might wonder, why this challenge? The team is pushing themselves for a bigger mission, to fundraise for an incredible cause. The trio are dedicated in supporting the Gozo SPCA in its mission to build Gozo’s first ever sanctuary.
The team will be travelling from Jaisalmer to Kochi where the team will definitely be pushing themselves out of their comfort zone, especially because none of the three know how to deal with mechanical issues and only one of them knows how to read a paper map.

Through their several activities including fundraising events, open donation portals online and special donation packages, every cent collected will be donated to two different charities.
The first £500 will be donated to Cool Earth and the rest after that will be donated Gozo SPCA. Gozo SPCA is working on building a dedicated space will provide a safe, loving environment for stray and abandoned cats in Gozo to make sure they have the care and protection they deserve.
The team will be documenting their adventure on @dwejra2india on Instagram and you can support them by donating here as they embark on a trip to make a difference.
Will you help them to reach their goal?
