Malta came together in a powerful show of solidarity on Good Friday, as a record-breaking 10,000 people took part in the annual Puttinu Cares walk from Mellieħa to the Granaries in Floriana.
The square was packed as families, friends, and supporters walked side by side in support of those battling illness, with this year marking the largest turnout the event has ever seen.

Along the route, water and 180 boxes of oranges were distributed, thanks to the generosity of sponsors.
Puttinu Cares also extended heartfelt thanks to the volunteers and organisers who worked tirelessly to make the walk such a success.
The Good Friday marathon officially kicked off at 9am, as Malta once again rallied together for this annual fundraiser in aid of those in need.
