A Shrine To Daphne Caruana Galizia Is Forming As People Lay Wreathes In Valletta
A silent vigil in the wake of Daphne Caruana Galizia’s assassination is being held in front of the Courts of Justice in Valletta today, and it started at 1pm with the laying of wreaths across the street.
Flowers and messages to the investigative journalist have already been left at the Great Siege monument opposite the Law Courts, along with a message by a group calling themselves #JusticeForMalta.

“Daphne’s assassination is not just an act of brutality, but a direct assault on our democracy. It’s time to stand up to be counted. She definitely would have.
We will not be silenced. Join us from 1pm today till late for a silent vigil in front of the Courts of Justice. Bring flowers, candles and cards. Help us spread the word.”
