Amazing Initiative Making Literature Easily Accessible For Elderly Maltese People

Swashbuckling adventures, thrilling stories and exciting romances are the best thing ever. But sadly not everyone is able to access books or read them.

The Dar il-Madonna tal-Mellieħa are taking the amazing initiative of organising reading sessions for the elderly, and it’s cute AF.

The aim of this great event is to help those who aren’t able to make it to the library, so these guys will be providing weekly reading sessions along with a new and accessible library for the residents.

This initiative is not a new one. It has been going on since 2016 in other homes for the elderly. These sessions have been extended to the Mtarfa and Floriana homes too until one day, hopefully, it will be totally a thing in all the elderly homes on our islands.
