Attention Malta: Help Us Clean Up Chadwick Lakes

Article Featured Image

Some of you may have seen one of 2017’s first featured #LovinMalta shots was a stunning view of Chadwick Lakes. However, as many readers pointed out, it’s not all rainbows and roses as far as the eye can see.

Often referred to as one of Malta’s last-remaining corners of greenery, Chawdwick Lakes is going to need a proper clean-up to retain this title.

Clean-ups like this are not an uncommon occurrence. Last year we ran a story about two friends who decided to take matters into their own hands, and tidy up one of Malta’s most beautiful nature reserves at Wied il-Miżieb

Andrew and Ghislaine’s acts led to a collaborative sign-up effort, where readers could register to participate in community cleanups all around Malta and Gozo. And the time to take action has now arrived.

Our next big project is a cleanup happening January 14th, 10:00 am at Chadwick Lakes.

And everyone is invited to join us this Saturday, and share this post to get as many people mobilised as possible.

If you haven’t yet signed up to be informed of future clean-ups, we’re still accepting submissions and you can enter all your details below. Let’s not be bystanders to this any more.
