The boy who captured the heart of a nation with his story and his infectious smile is now in need of help. Nigel had gone to London a few months ago for a massive and urgent operation, specifically a heart transplant.

Fortunately, the operation was a success, and Nigel has left the hospital in London in good spirits. Nigel was able to travel to London with the help of Puttinu Cares, an organisation that is often an essential part of Maltese people going abroad for major operations.
Unfortunately, all of the beds that Puttinu Cares owns in London for recovering Maltese patients are filled, and now Nigel is looking for a kind soul to help him out by giving him a bed to recover as his heart heals.
Puttinu Cares has put a call out for anyone who has access to a spare bedroom in London that Nigel can use while he recovers from his heart surgery.
Since his operation was of such a delicate nature, it is unadvisable to have him moved around too much, so the sooner we can find him a bedroom, the better his chances are of a safe recovery.
