Family Friendly Christmas Events Perfect For Children In Malta This Year
Oh how we wish we could be a child again, especially with all these fun times ahead for Maltese kids!
Christmas as a child is awesome and so stress-free. These Christmas events in Malta for kids sound epic and will ensure plenty of happy memories for the little ones (and we’re kinda jealous, to be honest).
1. Christmas at The Pod – Carob Tree, St Julian’s
The Carob Tree will be hosting tons of events for the children this Christmas. These include Xmas movie screenings, interactive story telling and Christmas cooking classes for parents and kids.
2. Twas the night before Christmas – Molly’s Cafe, Mosta
Molly’s Cafe are hosting an event of fun, wonder and magic.
They’ll read the kids a Xmas book with imaginary play and props, bake cookies for Santa and make reindeer food.
Expect craft-making, singing, games and dancing.
3. Pyjama Christmas Party, Birkirkara
Join Frozen’s Anna, Elsa, Olaf (and Santa) for a Xmas pyjama party on 4th of January 2019.
This event will include a stage show, dance-along, friendly activities, a sensory sessions, nibbles, a goody bag for your kids to take home and a digital photo with all the characters.

4. Christmas Kids’ Club @ Malta International Airport, Luqa
Head over to MIA between 21st December and 2nd January to explore their Santa’s toy factory.
Children will get to meet Santa Claus and help him settle, once and for all, who deserves to be on the Nice List, and who’ll be getting a lump of coal. They will also get to be involved in a special obstacle course before helping the elves build some toys.
5. Christmas at the Aquarium, Bugibba
The Aquarium are organising a calendar of events everyday from 22nd December until 6th January.
Kids can expect to be thoroughly entertained as they participate in workshops such as puppet shows, gingerbread decorating, snow globe and tree decorating, wand making, magic workshops and more.
6. Magical Christmas Concert 2018, MCC Valletta
The Magical Christmas Concert is back for its fourth year on 15th & 16th of December 2018.
It involves 90 minute of the greatest hits and performances from Disney’s favourite characters.
Expect spectacular visuals, synchronised lights, animation and interactive games. The concert will be creatively produced, choreographed and augmented with performances by guests artists.
7. Festive Family Days at BigMat, Ta’ Qali
Tomorrow (12th December) is the last day your kids will have the chance to attend this fun festive event.
Activities include PlayMais crafts, Xshot game, flying a drone, slime table, balloon animals from Santa’s elves and photos with Santa. Not to mention free popcorn and candy floss. Full details and timings can be found here.
