The largest and most colourful celebration of equality, love and LGBT+ rights that Malta has ever seen saw Republic Street in Valletta strewn in rainbow flags and smiling faces.

Thousands of people walked in the streets showing their true selves, without fear of persecution; something very different than just a few years ago in Malta, and an ongoing problem in many parts of the world.

People flocked around a large float with organisers, performers, and drag performers like Tolqueen that led the parade as the crowd danced to the music and enjoyed the festive atmosphere.

People of all ages took part in the celebration and showed the world that Malta stands with the LGBT+ community for another year.
