Lejl Imkebbes: Festival Of Lights Is Coming Up Soon In Gozo
A festival of lights, called Lejl Imkebbes, is just around the corner and we would like to shed some light on it (get it?).
”As you stroll through the narrow streets of Cittadella, you’ll be surrounded by the soft glow of over 30,000 candles in all shapes and sizes,” NRGY, the event organisers said.
The festival will take place in Gozo’s beautiful Cittadella, on 20th May, at 6pm. NRGY will be hosting it in collaboration with the Ministry of Gozo and Cultural Heritage Directorate.
The area will be decorated with artefacts, and there will be a bunch of activities for all to enjoy, including live entertainment, reenactments, food stalls, and open museums.
Mark your calendars, and get ready for a night of glimmering lights and breath-taking views.
