Citizens concerned about the recently approved development of four 12-storey blocks in Mistra have turned to the public to fund their appeal.

The group of residents have just three days (24 February being the deadline) to raise the €7,350 required.

The Planning Authority approved the development of the 744 residential units last January.

The Times of Malta also reported that St Paul’s Bay local councillors failed to attend an urgent meeting called to discuss the project, failing to satisfy quorum requirements.

One resident through the Facebook Group Save the North also encouraged people to email the St Paul’s Bay local council to assist with funding the appeal.
