1. “I used to like you guys, but now all you do is politics”
Actually, with so many posts in a day, we do a lot more than just politics. You’re welcome to browse all of our new, non-political content, or delve into the dark past of our older articles.
2. “You guys are so biased”
We may be outspoken, but we’re certainly not biased. In the past we’ve called out both parties when we felt the need to for a variety of different issues (see: This Post About Pastizzi Is Everything That’s Wrong With The Nationalist Party and My Taxes Shouldn’t Pay A Man Who Publishes Homophobic Jokes).
We’ve also been quick to compliment positives from either side of the spectrum (see: Minister Drafting Law To Introduce Gay Marriage In Malta and PN’s Reply On Gay Marriage: What Are You Waiting For?)
3. “LovinMalta? More like LovinPN”
With regards to the accusation of a Nationalist bias, please see the above point.
The reason this is a separate post is because we’d really like to clarify that, in terms of creativity, it’s not the original, hilarious comment you think it is.
4. “You’ve ruined your website. This isn’t you”
Honestly, we’d be doing Malta a disservice if we didn’t tackle some political issue, particularly when politics is, like it or not, so ingrained in Malta’s daily life.
Also, if we wrote it, it’s kinda by definition us.
5. “You’re tarnishing Malta’s reputation with the rest of the world”
This one also comes as: “More like HatinMalta” or “How about DividinMalta”. While we appreciate that our readership has grown a lot over the past year, our analysis of the current political climate will not be the reason tourists don’t visit.
Lovin Malta is a great way for people living in Malta to rediscover their island and celebrate all the things that make us unique. Our content, while very useful to tourists, is not directly targeting that market.

We understand that some people don’t like political talk on their Facebook page, but if you’re going to rage about how you’re unfollowing us (for bias, ruining our website, showing our true colours etc.) please follow through with it.
