150,000 organic waste bins have been distributed to families across the Maltese islands as part of what Wasteserv have called “the start of a new chapter in Malta’s waste collection”. Now that we’re over 24 hours into the scheme’s official kick-off, how are you faring?

By 3pm on Wednesday, it was reported that around 90 tonnes of organic waste had already been collected from 50 localities.
