It’s January 1st and you’re adamant on becoming the new you. You’ve set an ambitious list of goals you want to achieve over 2019 and you set about achieving them with certainty.

You got this.

January 3rd dawns and you’re already one goal down. No matter, you didn’t really care to stop smoking anyway.

Plus, one cigarette a day won’t kill you.

By January 5th, you’re down to half your resolutions, but they’re the most important ones and these are the ones you will 100% stick to for the year.

It is now January 8th, one week into the new year, and you’ve ditched this whole resolution business and accepted the fact that you will never change.

Most of us know that feeling, and it’s not a great feeling. According to some studies, 80% of us will fail at our new year’s resolutions by the second week of February. That’s quite bleak.

The reason most people don’t stick to resolutions stems from the psychology that makes us human. When setting our goals, we know what we should be doing, but very often we fail to address why we want to do it. Is it to better ourselves as individuals? Is it because we feel we owe it to someone? Do we really want to change or do we think we do?

Before attempting any change, we need to connect with what drives us to want to make this change. That is the starting point to the process. Only then can we design a set of goals that are not only achievable, but also maintainable long-term.

Thankfully, there is help out there.

The New Year Evolution Workshop is specifically targeted towards those individuals who feel the need for change but struggle with the execution.

The three-hour session, delivered by psychotherapist and founder of A Life I Choose Emma Hogg, will help people reconnect with their purpose and break through the self-doubt that stops us from taking action.

It will be going down on January 19th, bang in the middle of that do or die period for new year’s resolutions.

So if you feel like you need change and want that extra bit of mentoring to help you out, head on down to the workshop and tackle your new year’s resolution head on.

Tickets are selling out fast so be sure to get yours now!
