TOMORROW: Lovin Milied Kicks Off In An Attempt To Collect 800 Gift Boxes For Those In Need
As of tomorrow Monday 10th December, Lovin Malta is inviting everyone to take part in the #LovinMiliedChallenge.
We’re collecting gift boxes all of next week, and these will all be delivered to over 15 organisations, including safe houses, orphanages, and care homes across Malta and Gozo, just in time for Christmas!
So, this is what you need to do:
1. Grab a shoebox and wrap the base and lid separately in festive wrapping paper. No need to seal the box!
2. Choose a gift box from the list below, and fill it with the appropriate pressies
When?
Get on down to the Lovin Malta HQ from 09:00 till 19:00 with your boxes on either the 10th, 11th, 12th, or 14th December. Don’t turn up on the 13th though, we’ll be at home enjoying some public-holiday-themed mulled wine. Or sleeping.

Gift Box 1: Mother & Baby Box
A Soft Towel, Talcum Powder, Pack of Baby Wipes, Scented Soap for Mum, Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat (Father Christmas chocolate or similar)
Gift Box 2: Kids Box (3-10)
Soft Toy (animal soft toy, teddy bear, cartoon soft toy, snowman soft toy or similar), Small Fun Present (yoyo, skipping rope, toy animal/ dinosaur, a pack of cards), Creativity Gift (crayons, colouring pencils, dried paint palette, activity book, colouring book, thin picture book, sticker book), Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat (Father Christmas chocolate or similar)
Gift Box 3: Older Girl’s Box (11-16)
A Fashionable Scarf , Small Present (key chain, a pocket mirror, a purse, hair accessories or a piece of jewellery), Notebook Diary, Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat (Father Christmas chocolate or similar)
Gift Box 4: Older Boy’s Box (11-16)
A Scented Body Spray, Small Present (a wallet, socks, a piece of jewellery, a pack of cards, hair gel), Notebook Diary, Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat (Father Christmas chocolate or similar)
Gift Box 5: Elderly Citizen Box
Cosy Lap Blanket, Warm Unisex Slippers or Hot Water Bottle, A Christmas Card In An Envelope To Open (can be anonymous or signed from you or your family), Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat (Father Christmas chocolate or similar)
Gift Box 6: Food Box
Christmas Decoration, Chocolate Treat in packaging (Cake or Cookies), Cuppa soup, pot noodles, packet of rice, can beans, dried fruit, cereal bar, canned vegetables, peanut butter. (Pick FIVE of these items)
We also have a special request this year; we’re collecting 800 fluffy blankets too.
The response we got last time was so overwhelming that we didn’t have enough space to store all the gifts you guys brought. This year, we’re making sure that doesn’t happen.
We’ve reached out to even more organisations and homes, so we really need your help!
U-Store has graciously offered us a storage space that we can use as our own little Santa workshop, and eCabs will be helping us deliver everything just in time for Christmas. We’re so grateful to have them on board!
AND if you can’t bring yourself to our offices, don’t worry- All Atlas Insurance branches are now also drop off points!
Atlas Insurance have stepped in and offered to help us out by using their 11 branches as drop off points for the gift boxes.
You can find the branch closest to you by using their handy branch locator, and then its as simple as leaving your boxes there, and we’ll do the rest!
