Carnival may be this weekend, but for one road in Dingli it seems like Carnival’s already arrived. 

A video posted online shows a Maltese man dressed up as a set of working traffic lights, administering traffic regulations to the fine drivers of Dingli’s roads.

As his costume turns from green to red, he literally stops traffic, with cars patiently playing along until he turns green again.

People reacted positively to the costume, saying it was both original and funny, with some people even saying the man should replace certain infamous traffic stops around the country

If this is a taste of things to come in Carnival 2018, then we might be in for a real treat.
