WATCH: Maltese Primary School Gives Young Students A Heartwarming Welcome Back To School

Excited cheers and high fives greeted the students returning to Naxxar Primary after their long summer break. Lining up against the walls of the school’s entrance, the teachers and staff made sure to start the scholastic year off in the most upbeat way possible.

Using the celebration as a way to remind children that learning can be fun, the students themselves seemed taken by the whole situation, if a little confused.

Online comments, including those by parents of the students in the video, praised the initiative as a great way to boost morale, and probably in the long run, the grades of the students.

“So beautiful to see this,” one comment read. “Thank you for your dedication.”
