WATCH: NSFW Maltese Shopkeeper Goes On Hilarious Rant Against Names On Coca-Cola Bottles
Coca-Cola may be the most popular drink in the world, but one Maltese shopkeeper has a less than rosy opinion of the fizzy drink’s marketing scheme after having to deal with their branded cola cans. Or, to be fair, certain customers..
“Brother, Natasha, Hannah, Peter” and even “Lorenzo” are just some of the names that are in the man’s crosshairs as he rips into what he sees as the idiocy of putting names onto a can of cola.
In the video found on the Facebook page Malta & Gozo Like and Share, the shopkeeper even somehow works in a complaint about how expensive electricity is, and how this branding stunt is leading him to spend more on his bills.
Whilst a lot of people were put off by his swearing, others found his honest and authentic take on the stunt to be refreshing.
Ironically, by complaining about the names on the cans, the shopowner is probably giving even more free publicity to the brand.
But he couldn’t care less, as long as you just open the fridge door, pick your drink, and close it as fast as you can.
