Teenage years in Malta are meant to be spent enjoying the sun, great music and all your favourite people, and the guys over at Wicked Events seem to know this all too well. Reeling in all the experience they’ve built over the years, the teenage party promoters will be bringing it all together for one long day they’re calling The Wicked Festival.

Covering all bases, the organisers have secured everyone from local hip hop trailblazers 215 Collective to Junior Eurovision stars Gaia and Destiny. And because this is a festival, there are also some big names in the local dance scene; J Joy, Ziggy and Sound Salon favourites Stef B, Kugene and Lex are all here.

Beyond big names and established artists, Wicked Festival will also be showcasing some of the freshest talent on the island, keeping true to the event’s teenage audience.

One of Malta’s youngest DJs, MAMO, has also been roped in for the festival, which is set to be an eight-hour extravaganza of pool parties, freebies and a proper festival atmosphere.

Wicked will of course also feature ANT, one of the most popular DJs of his age and himself the young creator and organiser behind the festival and so many more teen parties and events.

Seeing as this a teen event, some ground rules were put in place ahead of Wicked Festival’s big day on the 17th of July at San ?wann’s Aria Complex.

No alcoholic beverages or any substances will be sold at the event or allowed in the premises, and security will be amped up, with management reserving the right to deny entry at any given time at its own discretion.

The event, which Wicked are calling “the biggest teen movement in Malta”, has gotten over 1,000 Maltese youths engaged on social media, with hundreds of people looking forward to the festival’s diverse lineup. In fact, with nearly two weeks to go, the festival is already nearly sold out.
