100 Trees By 100 Customers: L’Occitane’s Reforestation Project Planting One Tree For Every Purchase

L’Occitane Malta and local distributor Classic Group recently took the initiative to plant 100 indigenous trees, as part of commitments made towards the environment.

The trees were planted together with environmental organisation ACT, which was founded by a group of friends back in 2018 who wanted to implement positive change in Malta.

The initiative came through following a campaign where L’Occitane pledged to plant a tree for every purchase made.

Therefore the 100 trees planted indicate 100 customers that contributed to this initiative through their purchase.

Among trees planted on the day were Cypress, Buckthorn, Carob and Holm Oak, as an attempt to preserve Maltese indigenous trees.

A team of employees from Classic Group Ltd spent a working day with ACT in Mellieħa last Saturday 18th December.

“At L’Occitane Malta, we have always offered our customers products that are environmentally-friendly and sustainable, with nature being respected from all parts of the manufacturing process with our products you can look after your skin and the environment.”

ACT also strives to empower individuals and communities through learning opportunities, positive engagement and collaboration.

It believes in sustainable progress across all areas of society and that this is achievable through open and constructive dialogue.
