Do Not Swim Here: Health Notice Issued For Water Off Wilga Street St Julian’s

A do not bathe notice has been issued for the waters off Wilga Street, St Julian’s, due to an overflow of foul water coming from below the rocks.
The Environmental Health Directorate within the Superintendence of Public Health issued the notice yesterday, urging the public not to swim until it is cleared by authorities.
Environmental Health Officers (EHOs) are currently investigating to determine the source of contamination. At this stage, the duration of the contamination cannot be predicted.
Signs have been put up in the area and will be removed once the site is cleared.
