Extinction Rebellion Malta’s Environmental Festival Is Back At Upper Barrakka Gardens
Environmental NGO Extinction Rebellion Malta is back to hosting its annual grand event of the year in Valletta, the Environmental Festival.
The Environmental Festival will be open for the public at the Upper Barrakka gardens from 5.30pm till 10pm, on 18th September.
“The target of the event is to promote the environment by coming together and celebrating our local talents and the social causes and movements which are needed to reach a safe and sustainable future for us all,” the chairperson of Extinction Rebellion Malta Kris Bajada explained.
The event will be pet friendly and will also include a vegan food stand, making it inclusive for many. It will also feature art exhibitions and a thrift stall.
“It will serve as a networking event for all NGOs, businesses and other organisations present who will be sharing their events and projects to the public on the day,” Bajada said.
“Food, music and many other surprises await this spectacular afternoon of events, which is why Extinction Rebellion Malta invites everyone to celebrate this fun-filled evening with all the hardworking pioneers striving for a better environment for us all.”
