Local Reimagines A Greener Malta Through AI
A Maltese man has reimagined a greener Malta by using AI, posting images of the utopian local scenery in a Facebook post earlier this week.
The refreshing images show gardens filled with colourful greenery, fortresses surrounded with flowers, Maltese streets with local architecture. Taking a step away from the usual AI renditions, these pictures also showcase eco-friendly methods of mass public transport such as trams and high-speed rails.
“My dream Vision of Malta. No Traffic, More green and fresh air. Nothing is impossible,” Glen Ciantar wrote in the caption.
His optimistic sentiment was echoed through the comments with many saying that they want Malta to take a more green approach in infrastructure.
Others have a more cynical mentality about this topic. A specific comment outlined that if we want this picture to become real, we must change “our cities – they can become car less only if WE decide to do so”, the commenter said.
He used the example of replacing car rides with walks instead and highlighted the dependency we have on private cars.
